(CBS12)  \u2014 An elementary school in Martin County was placed on a temporary lockout on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Martin County School District, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.martinschools.org\/o\/bces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bessey Creek Elementary School<\/a> was placed on a temporary lockout out of an abundance of caution after the school received a tip through the Fortify system.<\/p>\n<p>A message sent to families said the lockout only pertained to extended day and drama club students.<\/p>\n<p>Once the lockout was lifted, the district sent a statement saying, \u201cFollowing up on our earlier message regarding the lockout, law enforcement has confirmed that the tip referenced a school in another county and was not related to any MCSD school. The lockout has been lifted, and all activities continue as normal.
