Now, a new permit has been filed for the installation of set elements.<\/p>\n<p>Refreshment Port New Permit<a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/wdw-epcot-refreshment-port-construction-walls-03.11.2026-8121.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/wdw-epcot-refreshment-port-construction-walls-03.11.2026-8121.jpg\" alt=\"Refreshment Port at EPCOT Still Closed, Surrounded by Construction Walls\" class=\"wp-image-1392460\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Construction walls currently still extend from the side of Swirled Showcase, around Refreshment Port, ending before the Canada pavilion\u2019s festival booth. EPCOT is currently hosting the Flower &amp; Garden Festival, but it looks like Refreshment Port will be closed for most of the festival, if not for the whole duration.<\/p>\n<p><a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/wdw-epcot-refreshment-port-construction-walls-03.11.2026-8118.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/wdw-epcot-refreshment-port-construction-walls-03.11.2026-8118.jpg\" alt=\"Refreshment Port at EPCOT Still Closed, Surrounded by Construction Walls\" class=\"wp-image-1392462\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/selfservice.or.occompt.com\/ssweb\/document-image-pdf\/DOC4258S15855\/20260188499.pdf?index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">permit <\/a>was filed with the contractor being \u201cIcarus Exhibits Inc.\u201d There is no expiration date on the permit to indicate when this work might be finished. It was filed by Walt Disney Imagineering and includes the description to \u201cinstall set elements\u201d, indicating this kiosk might face more guest-facing changes than was originally thought.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/disneyworld.disney.go.com\/dining\/epcot\/refreshment-port\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">Walt Disney World website<\/a>\u00a0does not list a reopening date for Refreshment Port. The calendar is currently available through May 9, and the venue is still listed as closed through that date.
