These small steps can make a significant difference in preserving the City\u2019s limited water resources during this dry period.<\/p>\n<p>Lee County vs. Cape Coral Watering Rules:<\/p>\n<p>Lee County enforces a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leegov.com\/naturalresources\/watersmart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">watering schedule<\/a> that applies only to properties in unincorporated Lee County.<br \/>\nOther municipalities, including Cape Coral, have their own irrigation rules that apply within city limits.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Coral\u2019s Current Irrigation Schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Most properties in Cape Coral follow the regular two-day-a-week irrigation schedule.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 0:<br \/>Monday and Thursday, 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 1:<br \/>Monday and Thursday, midnight to 4 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 2:<br \/>Monday and Thursday, 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 3:<br \/>Tuesday and Friday, 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 4:<br \/>Tuesday and Friday, midnight to 4 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 5:<br \/>Tuesday and Friday, 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 6:<br \/>Wednesday and Saturday, 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 7:<br \/>Wednesday and Saturday, midnight to 4 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 8:<br \/>Wednesday and Sunday, 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>For addresses ending in 9:<br \/>Thursday and Sunday, 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capecoral.gov\/Images\/Departments\/Office of Communications\/pressreleases\/2026\/4126-Water QualityConservation.jpg?t=202604011401180\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Click here to download a flyer of Cape Coral&#8217;s irrigation schedule<\/a><\/p>\n<p>One area of the city (see map below) is under additional restrictions due to a\u00a0severe water shortage\u00a0declared by the\u00a0South Florida Water Management District.<br \/>\nWithin this restricted area, there is an important distinction:<\/p>\n<p>Properties using private wells\u00a0must follow a strict irrigation ban.<br \/>\nProperties connected to City water\u00a0remain on the regular two-day-a-week schedule.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Phase IV Water Shortage Map for Mid-Hawthorn Aquifer Users.jpg\" style=\"display: block;
