Tampa International Airport is advancing a $25.4 million contract to expand and reconfigure its ticketing level.<\/p>\n
The Hillsborough County Aviation<\/a> Authority is set to consider a design-build contract with Austin Commercial for the first phase of the project at its April 2 meeting. <\/p>\n The work stems from the airport\u2019s 2022 master plan update, which identified operational constraints tied to rising passenger volume.<\/p>\n Plans call for a 14,000-square-foot expansion adding 28 ticket counters, relocating airline offices into a new 30,000-square-foot space and reworking the existing 135,000-square-foot ticketing area to improve passenger flow.
