The Falcons will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Palmer Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n Palmer Trinity took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Monsignor Pace, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Pedro Castillo<\/a> spent all seven innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n On the hitting side, Joshua Martinez<\/a> was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. David Herrera<\/a> was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hialeah-Miami Lakes). Everything went their way against Sheridan Hills Christian two weeks ago as they made off with a 20-4 win. The Trojans haven’t had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.<\/p>\n
