It\u2019s a spot that has just absorbed the loss of a neighborhood favorite: Danny Serfer\u2019s beloved seafood restaurant Mignonette, known for its oysters and relaxed atmosphere, which opened in 2014 and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/miami-com\/restaurants\/article315235607.html\">closed on March 29.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fate of the Biscayne Boulevard Denny\u2019s, which supplied workers, students, drivers, the hungry and, sometimes, the downright shady with late-night breakfasts, was less of a surprise. The restaurant\u2019s fate was sealed in 2022, when Denny\u2019s the property was sold for $24 million to the California-based real estate company Pacific Star Capital, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/miami\/2022\/01\/13\/dennys-sells-edgewater-restaurant-dev-site-in-miami-for-24m\/\">according to The Real Deal<\/a>. The sale included the restaurant and the parking lot, which includes 1.2 acres.<\/p>\n<p>The 4,889-square-foot Denny\u2019s building, built in 1968, has remained opened since then.
