As the visionary force behind Parliament-Funkadelic, George Clinton didn\u2019t simply define a genre; he built an entire musical universe that continues to shape generations of artists across hip-hop, rock, and beyond. From Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who transformed P-Funk into the foundation of West Coast G-funk, to Outkast, who have described themselves as \u201cchildren of the P-Funk era,\u201d Clinton\u2019s influence is both direct and enduring. Erykah Badu, Thundercat, Flea, Fishbone, Living Colour, and Prince have all credited his work as foundational, not just sonically but culturally.<\/p>\n
