{"id":217406,"date":"2026-04-03T11:49:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T11:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/217406\/"},"modified":"2026-04-03T11:49:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T11:49:08","slug":"soundlab-moves-to-mad-arts-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/217406\/","title":{"rendered":"Soundlab Moves to MAD Arts Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Good Problems Collective is excited to announce \u2013 after a successful year-long residency at Respectable Street \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jitneybooks.com\/soundlab-a-community-of-south-florida-sound-selectors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">SOUNDLAB<\/a>, South Florida\u2019s premier artist and producer showcase, will be moving to MAD Arts museum in Broward County beginning in April, 2026.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Known for its immersive exhibitions and a convening home for artists and community members, MAD Arts was selected as the perfect location to continue building on the success of SOUNDLAB.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe have full confidence in the team\u2019s ability to successfully manage this creative project,\u201d\u00a0said Marc Aptakin, Founder and CEO, MAD Arts. \u201cBeyond presenting strong individual works, we are particularly interested in how SOUNDLAB can serve as a gathering point for artists to explore the field of sound together, fostering dialogue, collaboration and a stronger sense of community through artistic exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The first\u00a0SOUNDLAB at MAD Arts\u00a0is set for\u00a0April 4, 2026\u00a0and will feature the following producers:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Over the course of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/purehoneymagazine.com\/soundlab-turns-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">last year, SOUNDLAB<\/a>\u00a0has built a strong and consistent community of supporters, which included 600+ sign-ups, featured 180 artists and 30+ producers, with artists traveling from Orlando, Tampa and California to participate in the event.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This event was made possible through support from the\u00a0Broward County Cultural Division by way of the FY26 Artist Support Grant.\u00a0The Good Problems team looks forward to working with MAD Arts and connecting with more Broward County musicians and artists.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Good Problems Collective is looking forward to the next chapter of the SOUNDLAB journey and invites the South Florida creative community to join the team for this free event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Liked it?
