MIRAMAR, Fla. \u2014 A task force officer with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives listed the five undercover drug deals that are part of the pending federal cases against three men in Broward County, records show. <\/p>\n
The TFO with ATF, deputized by the U.S. Marshals Service, is a sworn Davie police officer and Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office deputy who works in the Gang Investigations Task Force, records show. <\/p>\n
Prosecutors filed the complaints against Sunil Someria<\/a>, his brother Anand Someria<\/a>, and the brothers\u2019 alleged employee Richarles Lake<\/a> on March 19 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, records show. <\/p>\n \u201cThe brothers are large distributers of narcotics to include pressed fentanyl pills, powdered fentanyl, pressed Xanax, pressed Adderall, and cocaine,\u201d the TFO with ATF wrote, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n Anand Someria<\/a>, 23; Sunil Someria<\/a>, 25; and Lake<\/a>, 24, were arraigned on Thursday on federal charges of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.<\/p>\n The federal case includes the Miramar Lakes Apartment Complex property management\u2019s July report, a confidential informant\u2019s November tip, evidence of the trio\u2019s alleged crimes from Dec. 6 to March 18, and their arrest on March 19<\/a>, records show. <\/p>\n Sunil Someria<\/a>, also known as \u201cKerm;\u201d Anand Someria<\/a>, also known as \u201cNadd\u201d and \u201cRavi;\u201d and Lake<\/a>, also known as \u201cOTG Lindo,\u201d operated out of a \u201ctrap house\u201d apartment on the first floor of 10747 South Preserve Way in Miramar, according to law enforcement. <\/p>\n \u201cBoth Sunil and Anand indicated that they carried firearms for protection during narcotics transactions,\u201d the TFO with ATF wrote, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n Investigators reported seizing a black and gold Glock 43X, a black Smith and Wesson M&P .40 caliber handgun, and a black Glock 19 handgun. The list of drugs seized included more than 78 grams of fentanyl pills, more than 34 grams of MDMA pills, more than 132 grams of Xanax pills, 705 grams of marijuana, and about 40 grams of cocaine. <\/p>\n Here is the list of $43,500 in drug deals involving an ATF agent operating in an undercover capacity: <\/p>\n
