The first pitch of the Ole Miss baseball<\/a> game has been delayed.<\/p>\n

The Rebels (21-10, 4-6 SEC) play at No. 19 Florida (23-8, 6-4) on April 3. The game will start at 7:30 p.m CT.<\/p>\n

It is the second game of a three-game series, and the first series for the Rebels in Gainesville since 2021.<\/p>\n

The game was supposed to begin at 5:30 p.m. CT. About 30 minutes before the scheduled first pitch, Florida announced that the game will not begin on time due to nearby lightning in the area.<\/p>\n

Aidan King (3-2, 1.97 ERA) will be the Gator who throws the first pitch. He will face Ole Miss<\/a> starter Hunter Elliott (3-0, 3.72 ERA).<\/p>\n

The Rebels won the first game of the series 6-4 on April 2.<\/p>\n
