VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 After a missing child alert was issued for a 1-year-old girl out of DeLand, the Volusia Sheriff\u2019s Office has now announced that she\u2019s been found.<\/p>\n

The alert was first put out late last year<\/a>, when the VSO said the baby \u2014 Itzayana Gonzalez \u2014 had last been spotted near the 390 block of Circle Drive.<\/p>\n

At the time, deputies explained that her parents \u2014 identified as Doranalleli Gonzalez, 24; and Jose Campo, 27 \u2014 may have been avoiding a court order from DCF, which was trying to take custody of the baby girl.<\/p>\n

But on Friday evening, detectives revealed they\u2019d learned that Doranalleli Gonzalez may have been trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border.<\/p>\n

As a result, the VSO contacted the U.S. Marshals, which managed to make contact with both Doranalleli Gonzalez and her 1-year-old daughter at the border, a release from the VSO shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cGonzalez was arrested on her warrant, and Itzayana was taken into the custody of Child Protective Services,\u201d the release reads. \u201cThis case stems from allegations of potential child abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

That said, Jose Campo has still not been taken into custody, and his exact whereabouts are unknown, deputies added.<\/p>\n

No additional information has been provided at this time. <\/p>\n
