Mount Dora Boil Water Notice Eustis Road Closures <\/p>\nMOUNT DORA, Fla. – A flash flooding emergency has been issued for Lake County until 1 a.m. after several inches of rain have fallen over the last several hours, officials said. Watch live coverage in the video player above.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“This is a particularly dangerous situation. Seek higher ground now!” NWS Melbourne tweeted late Sunday night.<\/p>\n
According to estimates from FOX 35 Storm Tracking Radar, more than 13 inches of rain have fallen in parts of Lake County, including Mount Dora, Eustis, and Tavares.<\/p>\n

2 sinkholes reported in Lake County <\/p>\n
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said two sinkholes have formed near East Crooked Lake Drive, near Country Club Drive in Eustis. Those roadways are closed.<\/p>\n
School update: Eustis Elementary, Eustis Heights, Eustis Middle, Eustis High School Titusville Fire Department <\/p>\n
The Titusville Fire Department said it has received several reports of people seeing water into their homes or cars being stranded by floodwaters.<\/p>\n
“Please understand that calls are being triaged so that we handle life-threatening emergencies first.”<\/p>\n
Fire Department: “Please stay off the roads!” <\/p>\n
The Titusville Fire Department asked people to stay off the roadways due to the flash flooding from Sunday’s heavy rainfall and showers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rainfall totals: 8″-15″ of rain has fallen in Lake County <\/p>\n
Between 8″ and 15″ have fallen across Lake County, including Eustis, Mount Dora, and Sorrento<\/p>\n
