ALL RIGHT. LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON WEATHER WISE OUTSIDE. IT FEELS LIKE A GORGEOUS DAY OUT THERE THAT’S GOING TO COME TO A BIT OF AN END TOMORROW AS WE HAVE OUR EASTER SUNDAY. YEAH, I WISH WE COULD JUST STRETCH THIS BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND WEATHER ALL THE WAY THROUGH SUNDAY AND INTO THE WORKWEEK, BUT THAT’S NOT GOING TO BE THE CASE. IN FACT, TOMORROW WILL BE WATCHING OUT FOR SHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON, BEGINNING TO POP UP RIGHT AROUND TWO AND THREE ACROSS THE I-4 QUARTER. NOW, THIS ISN’T FRONTALLY DRIVEN, SO TEMPERATURES ARE STILL GOING TO BE WARM THERE. BASICALLY THOSE SPRINGTIME DAYTIME HEATING INDUCED SHOWERS THAT WE GROW ACCUSTOMED TO HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. SO TO START OFF THE MORNING, WE’RE NICE. WE’RE COMFORTABLE AT NIGHT AT 71 DEGREES THERE. CLOUDS ARE BUILDING RIGHT AROUND NOONTIME. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WILL BE PRESENT. AND THEN AT THREE, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE, YOU MAY START TO NOTICE THAT SPRINKLE OF RAIN CHANCES WILL BE HIGHEST ACROSS THE I-4 CORRIDOR ONCE YOU PULL TOWARDS THE SOUTH AS WELL. RAIN SHOWERS AREN’T GOING TO BE VERY WIDESPREAD TOMORROW, BUT IT COULD RAIN DOWN ON YOUR EASTER SUNDAY PARADE OUT THE DOOR RIGHT NOW IN ORLANDO. PRETTY TOUGH TO FIND ANY CLOUDS. JUST A SEA OF BLUE IN THE SKYLINE WITH TEMPERATURES SHOWING 81 DEGREES. NOW WE HAVE BEEN BREEZY. SUSTAINED WINDS ARE AT 17MPH. THESE OCCASIONAL GUSTS HAVE MOVED IN THAT 20 TO 25 MILE PER HOUR ZONE. HERE’S A LOOK AT YOUR PEAK GUSTS. TODAY LOOKS LIKE THE FASTEST MOVING WINDS WERE DOWN SOUTH IN MELBOURNE AT 26 MILE PER HOUR. CONDITIONS NOW ACROSS THE COASTLINE THAT EAST AND SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW IS GOING TO KEEP YOUR RIP CURRENT RISK HIGH THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. SO I KNOW A LOT OF FOLKS WERE AT THE BEACH TODAY, BUT IT’S ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU’RE SWIMMING WITH A LIFEGUARD CLOSE BY. IF YOU ARE UNDER RED FLAG CONDITIONS. AS FAR AS RAIN IS CONCERNED FOR THE REST OF YOUR AFTERNOON, ANY CHANCE FOR SHOWERS IS GOING TO PUSH TOWARDS THE WEST AND THAT WILL OPEN UP THE DOOR FOR CLEAR SKIES TONIGHT. DESPITE THESE CLEAR CONDITIONS, WE’RE STILL GOING TO BE TRENDING WARM OVERNIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES STALLING IN THE MID AND UPPER 60S. AND THEN AS WE MOVE ACROSS YOUR OVERNIGHT HOURS, WE WILL STILL SHOW THOSE CLEAR SKIES AND DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS. NOW, TOMORROW IN THE AFTERNOON, THAT’S WHEN WE START TO SEE HIGH PRESSURE BEGINNING TO BREAK DOWN WELL OFFSHORE. AND THAT’S GOING TO ALLOW THE DOOR TO BE OPEN FOR MOISTURE TO COLLECT HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. SO WE’RE WET AND WINDY TOMORROW AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT THAT WILL START TO MOVE IN AS WE KICK OFF YOUR WORK WEEK. SO WE’LL START TO SEE THOSE RAIN CHANCES BEGIN TO ELEVATE AT THREE, FOUR AND 5 P.M. AND THAT’S RIGHT AFTER TEMPERATURES PEAK IN THE MID AND UPPER 80S. SO WE START OFF YOUR DAY WITH SUNSHINE AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT FUTURECAST ON SUNDAY. TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURES TOO. IN ORLANDO, YOU’LL HIT 86 DEGREES BEFORE THESE CLOUDS START TO FILTER IN FROM THE NORTH AND THE WEST. AND NOW HERE COMES YOUR SHOWERS AT THREE, FOUR, AND 5:00 ACROSS THE I-4 CORRIDOR. THEN THESE START TO PUSH TOWARDS THE EAST. THOSE MID-LEVEL WINDS WILL GUIDE THESE SHOWERS OFFSHORE. AS WE ENTER THE EVENING, AND THEN OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY. ULTIMATELY, THOUGH, A LOT MORE RAIN DOES LIE IN FRONT OF US AS A COLD FRONT REALLY TAKES ITS TIME TO DESCEND ACROSS OUR SUNSHINE STATE. SO IT’S GOING TO BE A SOGGY START TO YOUR WORKWEEK. TAKE A LOOK AT BOTH OF OUR LONG RANGE MODELS IN WHICH THE RAINFALL ACCUMULATION HAPPENS IN THE SAME PLACE. THE GFS MAY BE A LITTLE BIT HEAVIER IN REGARDS TO RAINFALL, BUT YOU SEE ON THE EUROPEAN MODEL, WE’RE EXPECTING 3 TO 5IN OVER THE COURSE OF THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS STRETCH. SO YOUR UMBRELLAS WILL BE A NECESSARY ITEM TO TAKE BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT THE DOOR. TO START OFF THE WORKWEEK. NOTICE THAT TEMPERATURES TUMBLE BACKWARDS MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. WE DROP FROM T

Easter Sunday Brings Showers to Central Florida – Cooling with Rain Next Week As Well

Easter Sunday Brings Showers to Central Florida – Cooling with Rain Next Week As Well

   Updated: 6:43 PM EDT Apr 4, 2026

  Editorial Standards ⓘ

Easter Sunday Brings Showers to Central Florida – Cooling with Rain Next Week As WellA beautiful weekend start today, as temps returned to the mid and upper eighties inland.
