JACKSON COUNTY, FL (WTVY) -Things could have turned out much worse when a passenger car collided with a semi hauling dozens of cattle on Friday.<\/p>\n
According to a Florida Highway Patrol statement, the vehicles were traveling west on Interstate 10 near Marianna when the semi sideswiped the car, sending the semi onto an embankment, where it overturned.<\/p>\n
Wrecker crews stabilized the trailer to prevent it from tipping and removed the big rig and the trailer carrying 89 heads of cattle without further incident, FHP said.<\/p>\n
The passenger car\u2019s occupants from Quincy were treated at a nearby medical facility for what the Florida Highway Patrol described as minor injuries.<\/p>\n
