TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A man was shot and killed overnight Sunday on Apalachee Parkway during a \u201clarge physical altercation,\u201d according to the Tallahassee Police Department.<\/p>\n
Tallahassee Police responded to the reported shooting at about 1:31 a.m. Sunday at the 1100 block of Apalachee Parkway, per TPD.<\/p>\n
Officers said an adult male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were attempted but the victim later died at a local hospital, per TPD.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred during a large physical altercation,\u201d TPD said.<\/p>\n

Tallahassee Police are currently conducting a homicide investigation and said there is no threat to the public. <\/p>\n
Officers ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident call TPD at 850-891-4200. They can also remain anonymous at 850-574-8477.<\/p>\n
