The Florida State Seminoles landed a commitment from three-star athlete Dayon Cooper<\/a> on Saturday, providing a needed boost<\/a> to their 2027 recruiting class. It wasn’t all good news for FSU, though, as three-star offensive tackle target Abram Eisenhower committed to the Georgia Bulldogs<\/a> over the Seminoles.<\/p>\n

FSU and Georgia have been battling it out for Eisenhower for over a year now, with both programs extending him a scholarship offer in January of 2025. The Valdosta, Georgia native has visited both programs frequently, taking seven trips to Tallahassee since 2024, including two this year.<\/p>\n

He is ranked as the No. 735 overall player and No. 47 offensive tackle in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder is also the No. 62 player from Georgia.<\/p>\n

While losing out on Eisenhower stings, the decision is not unexpected as the Bulldogs have been seen as the leader in his recruitment, with FSU looking to pull off the shocker for quite some time. They do have an official visit scheduled with him, so the Seminoles could have a chance to pull off the flip if they can keep getting him back to campus.<\/p>\n

Offensive line coach Herb Hand does have FSU in a good spot for several other offensive line targets. The group is led by four-star interior offensive lineman Jatori Williams, a top 100 player in the country. They are also in the mix for three-star prospects DaJohn Yarborough, Bryson Sanderson, and Shavezz Dixon.<\/p>\n
