Summer Scozzari opened 910 Coffee on Henderson Drive in 2023 and she\u2019s preparing to open a second location in the Southwest community.<\/p>\n
Scozzari was born and raised in Jacksonville and is a graduate of Southwest High School. She\u2019s a single mom and owns several local businesses, including Anew Hearing Care and The Tiny Hiney Rescue. She also recently purchased the old Spanky\u2019s building on Onslow Drive, which she\u2019s working to revamp.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that maybe owning businesses and adding another one maybe gives me an adrenaline rush,\u201d Scozzari said.<\/p>\n
Recently, Scozzari launched 910 Coffee\u2019s mobile trailer, something she\u2019s been wanting to do for some time in order to offer 910 Coffee at local events.<\/p>\n
Her ultimate goal has been to open additional brick-and-mortar locations, especially as her current shop, at 1124 Henderson Drive, does not have a drive thru. That\u2019s what led her to decide to open a second 910 Coffee at 609 Richlands Hwy in Jacksonville, next to TLC Tanning Spa and Bowtique.<\/p>\n
\u201cI live out in Southwest, and I\u2019ve always wanted one closer to me, closer to my family, and I\u2019ve had a lot of people ask for it,\u201d Scozzari said. \u201cSo, here we go.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Southwest-area 910 Coffee should open by mid-May, Scozzari said. She also hopes to open more locations in Onslow County, including Sneads Ferry.<\/p>\n
She said she\u2019s grateful and blessed to be able to do what she does and encourages residents to support local businesses and other women to take risks.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want women, specifically, to feel like they\u2019re stuck in a box and can\u2019t do things,\u201d Scozzari said. \u201cYou have to take the risk. Once you do it, you love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
