{"id":22124,"date":"2025-10-27T12:17:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:17:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/22124\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T12:17:18","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:17:18","slug":"more-heavy-rain-expected-monday-in-central-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/22124\/","title":{"rendered":"More heavy rain expected Monday in Central Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Heavy rain is going to be a major concern across Central Florida on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The heavy storms will follow significant downpours in our area, including Lake and Brevard counties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Sunday, areas east of Eustis experienced over 15 inches of rain, while regions south of Titusville saw well over a foot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Although Monday\u2019s rainfall is not expected to reach those levels, two to three inches of rain may occur in some of the strongest storms, particularly near the coast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The heavy rainfall is associated with moisture moving in from a cold front that is expected to pass through the area on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This front will bring drier conditions and cooler temperatures, with highs dropping to the lower 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday, and further down to the lower 70s ahead of Halloween.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As the cold front moves through, residents can anticipate a break from the rain and a drop in temperatures, providing some relief from the recent heavy downpours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Click here;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
