Offset, best known for being a member of erstwhile hip-hop group Migos, was shot in Hollywood, Fla., according to multiple reports. The rapper is \u201cfine\u201d and is \u201ccurrently at the hospital receiving medical care,\u201d per TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The three-time Grammy-nominated artist was struck near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and details regarding the incident are scant, though his representative told TMZ he is \u201cstable and being closely monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seminole County Police told the outlet in a statement: \u201cWe are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Per the spokesperson, officials were on site immediately and the situation was quickly contained. Two people have since been detained by authorities, with an investigation pending.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal,\u201d authorities concluded.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9e Kiari Cephus, Offset provided the soundtrack to the defining era of mumble rap in the 2010s as a member of the Atlanta-hailing Migos, alongside groupmates Quavo and Takeoff. The trio, founded in 2008, rose to prominence with tracks like \u201cBad and Boujee\u201d and \u201cWalk It Talk It,\u201d as well as collaborations with artists Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B (also Offset\u2019s former spouse). In 2017, Offset also collaborated with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin on the album Without Warning, the lead single of which, \u201cRic Flair Drip,\u201d became Offset\u2019s highest-charting song.<\/p>\n

Migos disbanded a year after the fatal shooting of Takeoff at the age of 28 in Houston, Texas in 2022.<\/p>\n

As a solo musician, Offset has collaborated with Travis Scott, JID, Don Toliver, Gunna and others. Since then, Offset has continued to release music, dropping the surprise mixtape Haunted by Fame on Oct. 31, 2025. The 11-track project features appearances by YoungBoy Never Broke Again and\u00a0NoCap.<\/p>\n
