(WITN) &#8211; A Jacksonville man has pleaded guilty to child sex crimes committed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.witn.com\/2024\/04\/24\/man-accused-sexually-abusing-boy-over-11-year-span\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.witn.com\/2024\/04\/24\/man-accused-sexually-abusing-boy-over-11-year-span\/\">over 11 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ryan Kirby-Walton admitted to indecent liberties with a child, statutory sex offense with a child under 15, and sexual activity by a substitute parent in court last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Back in October 2023, the Onslow County Sheriff\u2019s Office was called to a report of sexual abuse of a boy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The victim told deputies that Kirby-Walton had sexually abused him starting when he was 11 years old and continuing until he was 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kirby-Walton was then arrested in 2024 on a $2 million bond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 52-year-old man was given between 14 years and 21 years, 10 months in prison, and must register as a sex offender for life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WITN.
