FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG\/WECP) – UPDATE: Franklin County Sheriff, A.J. Smith, has released a statement regarding the 3 teens killed in a crash on Highway 65.<\/p>\n
Highway 65 is expected to remain closed for the next 6 to 7 hours; drivers are asked to find alternate routes, Sheriff Smith says.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff confirmed the teens were not local.<\/p>\n

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three teens are dead after a crash resulting in flames on Highway 65.<\/p>\n
Florida Highway Patrol says a Gray 2024 Jeep Wrangler registered out of Georgia crashed on State Road 65 at Bloody Bluff Road.<\/p>\n
Officials say the Jeep burst into flames.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement says two girls between the ages of 16 and 18, and a boy between the ages of 16 and 20, are confirmed dead.<\/p>\n
Authorities say an additional girl between the ages of 16 and 18 has been transported for injuries.<\/p>\n
Both lanes of traffic on Highway 65 are closed. Authorities ask that the public avoid the area.<\/p>\n
