The Southeastern Conference<\/a> has officially announced the full appearance schedule of coaches for its 2026 SEC Football Kickoff Media Days, and Tampa is rolling out the welcome mat. The four-day event runs from July 20-23 at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott, and it is the first time in the event’s history that Florida has hosted the SEC’s annual summer showcase.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Previous host locations include Nashville, Dallas, and Atlanta. Before the locations rotated, it was the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover that held the event for two full decades, from 2001 to 2021.<\/p>\n Tampa’s arrival on the scene signals a new era, and it’s just the beginning of what the city has lined up.
