{"id":223696,"date":"2026-04-08T18:18:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T18:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/223696\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T18:18:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T18:18:13","slug":"man-arrested-after-argument-leads-to-deadly-shooting-in-orlando-police-say-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/223696\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested after argument leads to deadly shooting in Orlando, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 A man has been arrested after a deadly shooting over the weekend, according to the Orlando Police Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Police said Dancing Days Pacheco Santana has been charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Santana\u2019s arrest comes after Edwin Collazo was shot to death around 10:37 p.m. on Sunday in the 1000 block of Bethune Drive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Investigators said the deadly shooting happened after a verbal altercation that escalated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Collazo was found by first responders suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">The Orlando Police Department said this remains an active and ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
