Temple Terrace Craft Brewfest returns for its 10th year on Saturday, April 11, at Woodmont Park. Seventeen independent brewers will offer more than 100 brews. The Temple Terrace Junior Women’s Club runs the event as its main fundraiser.<\/p>\n

Profits go to several area charities. Recipients include the STEM program at Lewis Elementary and the food pantry at Temple Terrace Elementary, plus programs at Riverhills Elementary. Funds will also support King High junior wrestler Isabella McFarlane, who made history as the first female wrestler from Hillsborough County to win a state championship at the 2026 FHSAA State Championships in Kissimmee on March 6-7.<\/p>\n

McFarlane won gold in the 170-pound weight class. This summer, she’s preparing for the U.S. Marine Corps Cadet and Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, the largest wrestling tournament in the world.<\/p>\n

Brewfest has expanded. Last year, 11 brewers participated. This year there are 17. More than 2,000 people from over 70 ZIP codes attended last year’s event.<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to showcase the independent brewers, and the people who just enjoy brewing beer,” said Treasurer Ann Atchison, according to the Tampa Beacon<\/a>. “We also have someone who has brewed some Saki and ciders.”<\/p>\n

Atchison is taking over from Cheri Donahue, who ran Brewfest through the Temple Terrace Rotary Club and, in recent years, by the Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

Andria Roscart, co-owner of Athenaeum Brew Lounge in Dade City, first came to the event on the home brew side before opening their lounge two years ago. She praised the event’s organization and setting.<\/p>\n

“It’s always a well-run, organized event,” Roscart said. “They always sell out and it’s a great time for them to raise money for their charities. We also love the venue. It’s a beautiful area with lots of trees and lots of shade.”<\/p>\n

Brewers include Brandon Bootleggers, Bay Area Barley’s Angels, Wiregrass Brewing, Hop State, THOT Brewing, Pinellas Urban Brewing, Deep Roots Brewing, Hoppy Rooster Brewing, Broken Beaver Brewing, I Make Pour Decisions, TLT, Nature’s Niche Brewing Co., Procrastination Brewing, Banity Rooster Brewing, Rat Dog Brewing Company, and Unrefined Brewing. Brews distributed through J.J. Taylor and Pepin Distributing will also be available.<\/p>\n

The King High wrestling team will handle all parking. Rivard Buick GMC is the title sponsor among 13 local businesses sponsoring the event.<\/p>\n

Food trucks will be on hand, as well as the Black Velvet Band, which played at the event last year.
