ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 Cities and towns across Central Florida will hold elections on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and a handful of those cities opened early voting polling places on Monday.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the biggest is the city of Orlando, which is holding elections for three of its city council seats.<\/p>\n
Residents of Districts 1, 3 and 5 can vote early at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office on Kaley Street, now through Sunday, Nov. 2.<\/p>\n
The early voting hours are:<\/p>\n
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
To see if you are eligible to vote in one of these elections, head to the supervisor of elections website to check your voter registration.<\/a><\/p>\n Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular polling places will be open. <\/p>\n If you are voting by mail, you need to have your ballot in to the supervisor\u2019s office by 7 p.m. on Election Night.<\/p>\n Districts up for election <\/p>\n Orlando City Council District 1<\/a> includes the communities of Lake Nona, Lee Vista, Sunbridge and neighborhoods around Boggy Creek Road and Narcoossee Road. <\/p>\n Incumbent Commissioner Jim Gray<\/a> is facing three challengers: <\/p>\n Orlando City Council District 3<\/a> includes the communities of College Park, Baldwin Park, Audubon Park, and Rosemont. <\/p>\n Five candidates are running for this open seat.
