TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man has been indicted on federal charges for child exploitation crimes, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, Northern District of Florida.<\/p>\n
Chandler Smith, 27, was indicted on one count of distribution of attempted enticement of a minor and one count of attempted transfer of obscene material to minors, the attorney\u2019s office says. <\/p>\n
\u201cIf convicted, Smith faces a minimum of 10 years\u2019 imprisonment, and up to life imprisonment on the attempted enticement count. Smith also faces up to 10 years\u2019 imprisonment on the attempted transfer of obscene materials count,\u201d according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
A jury trial is scheduled for May 26, 2026. <\/p>\n
