Two students from Downtown Doral Charter Schools died in a fiery car crash on Tuesday, official say.<\/p>\n

A Doral school community is grieving after a car crash claimed the lives of two students.<\/p>\n
Jeannette Acevedo-Isenberg, head of schools at Downtown Doral Charter Schools, identified the teens as Mateo D\u00e1vila and Alessia Tucci.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur entire community is mourning the unimaginable loss of two of our beloved students,\u201d she wrote in a message. \u201cOur heartfelt sympathies are with their families, friends, faculty and staff at our schools. These students left a lasting impact on everyone who knew them, and they will be deeply missed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Doral police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a single-vehicle crash and a car on fire around Northwest 54th Street and 87th Avenue. Two people were found inside and died.<\/p>\n
The Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office Traffic Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.<\/p>\n
School officials said grief counselors will be available on campus to support students and staff in the coming days.<\/p>\n
Mateo was a member of the school\u2019s basketball team, according to an Instagram post by the team: \u201cRest in peace to our beloved player Mateo Davila. You and your family will always be in our heart,\u201d the caption reads.<\/p>\n
