HUGE REPORTER JACKI GUNTHER JOINS US LIVE FROM THE SCENE. JACKIE, WHAT CAN YOU TELL US THIS MORNING? >> WELL, SOME THAT WE KNOW THAT THE DRIVER OF THAT CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. WE’RE WORKING TO FIND OUT RIGHT NOW HOW THAT DRIVER IS DOING. BUT BEHIND ME IS THE HOUSE THAT THAT CAR CRASH LANDED IN FRONT OF. YOU CAN SEE IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING HAVE BEEN HERE. BUT I WANT TO SHOW YOU WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE AROUND 2.30, THIS MORNING. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS VIDEO WE GOT FROM THE TIME OF THE CRASH IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS NEIGHBORHOOD JUST EAST OF DEL PRADO BOULEVARD. YOU CAN SEE A RED MUSTANG UPSIDE DOWN IN THIS DRIVEWAY. OFFICERS, FIRE FIGHTERS AND PARAMEDICS WERE HERE. WE SO FIREFIGHTERS TRYING TO CLEAN UP ALL THE DIRT AND DEBRIS. THE CRASH KICKED UP AROUND THE HOUSE. LIKE I MENTIONED, FIREFIGHTERS TELL US THE DRIVER WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. I’VE REACHED OUT TO CAPE CORAL POLICE FOR MORE ANSWERS ON HOW THE DRIVER IS DOING.
