METEOROLOGIST ERIC BURRIS IS HERE NOW TALKING ABOUT ALL THE BEACH STUFF, THE RAIN, EVERYTHING COMING OUR WAY YET, SO THE SUN WILL BE OUT THIS WEEKEND. THANK GOODNESS. GREAT. YEAH. THE RECURRENCE, THOUGH WILL BE LINGERING, SO PROBABLY BEST TO EITHER STAY ON THE SAND OR SWIM RIGHT AT A GUARDED BEACH. OKAY, LET’S LOOK AT THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST BECAUSE THERE IS A VERY, VERY BIG SHIFT TODAY. THE LAST OF THE REALLY CLOUDY WET DAYS. I PUT THE PARTLY CLOUDY SKY ICON IN THERE FOR THE REST OF IT. NOTICE TEMPERATURES ARE WARMING A REALLY BIG PATTERN SHIFT, BUT FOR TODAY, FURTHER EAST YOU LIVE, THE HIGHER THE OPPORTUNITY IS TO SEE SOME RAINFALL, ESPECIALLY CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN BREVARD COUNTIES. NOW AT THIS HOUR, WATCHING SOME LIGHT SHOWERS STARTING TO MARCH ACROSS INTO THE METRO SANFORD. IT’S ABOUT TO LIGHTLY RAIN. LAKE MARY LONGWOOD BACK OVER TO, SAY, WINTER SPRINGS WINTER PARK. SOME LIGHT SHOWERS SNEAKING ON THROUGH DOWNTOWN ORLANDO IS DRY FOR NOW. A FEW SHOWERS OUT EAST AND THEN RAINS LIFTING FROM KISSIMMEE AREA MEADOW WOODS DOWN TO THE ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. WATCHING THESE SHOWERS LIFT ON THROUGH. AND AS THEY DO, WE’RE ALSO WATCHING THIS BIG CLUSTER OF MOISTURE HERE OVER BREVARD COUNTY WITH POCKETS OF EMBEDDED HEAVIER RAINFALL. NOW, THERE ARE A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES THAT I’VE SEEN, BUT I 95 QUITE WET HERE NEAR THE PINEDA CAUSEWAY, A BIT DRIER DOWN AROUND 192, BUT IT IS RAINING HEAVILY AROUND PALM BAY. GRANT AND VALKARIA. AND THEN IN ADDITION TO ALL THE RAIN, IT’S BEEN GUSTY. WE’VE ALREADY HAD A WIND GUST TODAY AT 37 MILES AN HOUR HERE IN DAYTONA BEACH, 35 IN MELBOURNE, AND EVEN THROUGH MARINELAND AND FLAGLER COUNTY. WE’VE SEEN SOME GUSTS. SO DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND. GUSTY SHOWERS TODAY. BUT THAT PATTERN SHIFT FOR TOMORROW. HERE’S FUTURECAST KIND OF SHOWING 10 A.M. THE RAINS, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SHORELINE THROUGH 1:00. LITTLE POCKETS OF GUSTY SHOWERS THROUGH THE METRO. BUT THEN NOTICE 7:00 TONIGHT, WE’RE BEGINNING TO CLEAR THE SKIES, BEGINNING TO QUIET THE RAINS. AND THROUGH TOMORROW A NICE BREEZE. BUT THE SUN WILL BE SHINING. AND THEN LOOKING AHEAD TO THE WEEKEND, MY FRIENDS, IT’S LOWER 80S BOTH DAYS. AND LOOK AT THAT BLUE SKY SHINING MAN. OH MAN, I’M LOVING THAT. FOR NOW THOUGH, LOOKING OVER TO PORT CANAVERAL. RAINDROPS ON THE LENS. CURRENT TEMPERATURES SITTING LOWER 60S TO THE NORTH. UPPER 60S, LOWER 70S. BACK OVER. BREVARD WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE. AND YES, YET AGAIN THE WINDS WILL BE GUSTING FROM TIME TO TIME. IF YOU’RE HEADING OVER TO THE BEACH, HIGH SURF ADVISORIES HAVE GALE WARNINGS IN EFFECT THROUGH ABOUT 8:00 THIS MORNING. HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS, SURF BREAKING AT 8 TO 10 SEAS FOR THE BOATERS RUNNING 10 TO 12FT, THIS FRONT FINALLY MOVES AWAY. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN AND THAT SETS US UP FOR WHAT WILL BE A GREAT WEEKEND. AND NEXT WEEK. BY THE WAY, MEAGHAN. THE SUN CONTINUES TO SHINE THIS WEEKEND, BUT THE

Showers and heavier rain are expected to persist throughout Thursday. This will mark the last wet day before drier weather arrives tomorrow and continues into the weekend.
