{"id":224789,"date":"2026-04-09T13:04:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/224789\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T13:04:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:04:08","slug":"seaworld-orlando-updating-expedition-odyssey-after-one-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/224789\/","title":{"rendered":"SeaWorld Orlando updating Expedition Odyssey after one year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 Changes are coming to SeaWorld Orlando\u2019s newest attraction, only a year after it opened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">\u201cExpedition Odyssey\u201d opened at the theme park in May of 2025, but now the ride is set to be updated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">SeaWorld Orlando describes Expedition Odyssey as a next-generation Arctic-themed flying theater attraction designed to simulate an expedition across the polar region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">In addition to the simulated \u201cflight,\u201d Expedition Odyssey also includes a themed exhibit area with Arctic animals, including walrus and seals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">SeaWorld is now inviting media outlets on Thursday for a preview of an \u201cevolution\u201d of the attraction, and a \u201cfinal ride\u201d in its current state.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Channel 9 was invited to Thursday\u2019s media event and will provide updates on Eyewitness News.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
