Just before it was turned off, cell site data placed the phone at an intersection near her Colerain Township home.Officials said a review of security camera footage in the area showed a silver Chevrolet pickup truck with a Tennessee license plate registered to Negron at the same time. Investigators said license plate readers were used to track the truck\u2019s previous travel south through Kentucky and into Tennessee.Federal authorities said a further investigation into Negron revealed an active protective order issued in Texas involving an 18-year-old woman who allegedly met Negron online in 2023, when she was 16 and Negron was 41. Documents related to that case allege Negron traveled from Florida and Tennessee to meet the teenager and brought her back to Tennessee.Negron is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting the Texas victim and threatening violence against her family.Prosecutors said that on March 12, FBI agents in Tennessee executed a federal search warrant at Negron\u2019s home and found evidence of a new cellphone number. GPS pings from that phone led agents to a hotel in Palatka, Florida.Court documents said Negron had driven to Florida in a work truck, a white Dodge Ram with a Virginia license plate.The following day, officials said, Negron was found with the Colerain Township teen in Florida. He was arrested on charges from the Eastern District of Tennessee related to the Texas victim.The teen was reported missing by her family Feb. 16.
