{"id":224852,"date":"2026-04-09T13:50:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/224852\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T13:50:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:50:10","slug":"rays-post-show-concerts-to-resume-may-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/224852\/","title":{"rendered":"Rays\u2019 post-show concerts to resume May 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Country music stars Chase Rice, Cole Swindell and Johnny Davis are booked for postgame concerts after Tampa Bay Rays\u2019 Saturday contests at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p>The performances, announced on Wednesday, are part of the Rays\u2019 Postgame Concert Series, which was nixed last season while the team was playing at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stpetecatalyst.com\/vintage-st-pete-concerts-under-the-dome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">READ MORE: Vintage St. Pete: Concerts under the Dome<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the concert schedule:<\/p>\n<p>May 2: Rice, after the San Francisco Giants game, first pitch at 6:10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>May 30: Swindell, after the Los Angeles Angels game, first pitch at 4:10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Aug. 15: Davis, after the Baltimore Orioles game, first pitch at 6:10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Fans who buy game tickets can stick around after the final out for the concerts. Field access is available by purchasing a wristband for an additional $35.10.<\/p>\n<p>Rice, a North Carolina native and former college football player, scored a massive 2018 crossover hit with \u201cEyes on You.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis won Song of the Year at the 2022 Country Music Association Awards for \u201cBuy Dirt,\u201d with Luke Bryan.<\/p>\n<p>Swindell has won multiple Academy of Country Music Awards, including Song of the Year and Single of the Year for \u201cShe Had Me at Heads Carolina\u201d in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The Rays played in Tampa in 2025 because Tropicana Field was damaged during Hurricane Milton in 2024.
