{"id":225089,"date":"2026-04-09T17:16:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T17:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/225089\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T17:16:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T17:16:08","slug":"literary-feast-celebrates-37th-anniversary-with-authors-signings-dinners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/225089\/","title":{"rendered":"Literary Feast celebrates 37th anniversary with authors, signings &#038; dinners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For 37 years, the Broward Public Library Foundation\u2019s Literary Feast has been bringing authors to South Florida to raise funds for the system\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n<p>This year, 11 authors will be featured discussing their works on April 17-18 during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bplfoundation.org\/litlive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">LitLive!<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bplfoundation.org\/a-night-of-literary-feasts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">A Night of Literary Feasts<\/a>. Proceeds benefit Broward County Library services such as Summer Learning, SAT\/ACT prep workshops and Books \u2018n\u2019 Bears at the Holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day event kicks off with the free LitLive! on April 17 \u2014 in which authors discuss their works during panels that are open to the public at the Main Library Auditorium, 100 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale.
