(WCTV) &#8211; Construction crews in Tallahassee are set to begin the final phase of the city\u2019s $3.3 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/10\/25\/seventh-avenue-tallahassee-set-be-resurfaced-starting-monday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/10\/25\/seventh-avenue-tallahassee-set-be-resurfaced-starting-monday\/\">Seventh Avenue Water Main Replacement Project<\/a>, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Rain delayed work early Monday, but city officials said crews are prepared to start as soon as conditions improve. If the weather doesn\u2019t clear, work will begin Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The first task will be to lower a manhole cover, according to a City of Tallahassee spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More Tallahassee News<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During this phase, crews will mill and pave Seventh Avenue between Centerville Road and Duval Street. Work will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with at least one lane open to traffic at all times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The project, which began in 2023, includes upgraded water lines, new fire hydrants, and restored underground utilities.
