{"id":225924,"date":"2026-04-10T06:11:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T06:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/225924\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T06:11:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T06:11:07","slug":"bike-night-returns-to-the-south-cape-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/225924\/","title":{"rendered":"Bike Night returns to the South Cape"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s that time, and the last time this season for Southwest Floridians to rev their engines and prepare for a rip-roaring good time, as a major special event returns to the South Cape this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Coral Bike Night, which will continue its updated layout, but this time with additional motorcycle parking, returns to Southeast 47th Terrace Saturday night starting at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is, I think, one of the iconic events we have in our city,\u201dsaid city Special Events Coordinator Todd King. \u201cAfter 20 years of serving the city as event coordinator, I love this event. I think we\u2019ve gone through some changes and come through with a more safe, more pedestrian-friendly venue. We look forward to every Bike Night to bring the community out a celebrate motorcycles, rock and roll, and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bike parking has moved to a location dubbed the \u201cThunder Zone.\u201d Located at\u00a04631 S.E. 10th Place, this parking spot in Club Square is the central rally point where all the hottest rides will be showcased. Motorcycle parking will also be allowed in the Iguana Mia parking lot (accessible by turning west at the Vincennes roundabout), and Southeast 11th Place, on the north end of the Slow Bike Race area, close to Southeast 46th Lane. Motorcycle parking will not be permitted along Southeast 47th Terrace.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees can also check out Vendor Village (located across from Backstreets), to peruse all kinds of unique finds, jewelry, clothes, sunglasses, awesome raffles with funds being raised for non-profits, delicious food trucks and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll have good music, cold beer, and great vendors with all kinds of amenities people can utilize for their motorcycle,\u201d King said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got some great motorcycle vendors with a very safe environment. We thank the Cape Coral Police Department for its support and provide a live, energetic stage that I think is second-to-none in Southwest Florida.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This high-octane, free event features live music, with headliner \u201cDiary of an Ozzman\u201d performing from 8:30 to 10, \u201cRed Hannah\u201d from 6:30 to 8, and \u201cThe Keepers\u201d from 5 to 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The headlining band is a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Ozzy left the Earth, we immediately thought it would be great to have a really powerful tribute on the final bike night of the season,\u201d King said. \u201cWe\u2019ve worked very closely with the band and they\u2019re the best one, we think, in the area. The event is poised to be one of the best Bike Night entertainment lineups we\u2019ve ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the night will include the Slow Bike Race at 8 p.m., where balance and control are pushed to the limit. Slow Bike races (signed waiver required) begin at on Southeast 11th Place. The check-in tent to register is at Southeast 47th Terrace and Southeast 11th Place.
