PALM COAST, Fla. (WFLA) \u2014 A Palm Coast woman was sentenced on Tuesday in connection with her August 2025 arrest<\/a> for treating thousands of patients while posing as a licensed nurse, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The Flagler County Sheriff\u2019s Office said<\/a> Autumn Bardissa pleaded no contest to unlicensed practice of health care and fraudulent use of identification.<\/p>\n

She treated over 4,400 patients without a nursing license, according to FCSO.<\/p>\n

Following her plea agreement, a judge withheld adjudication, sentencing her to five years of probation and 50 hours of community service.<\/p>\n

FCSO said Bardisa will be required to send a letter of apology to the nurse whose license number she stole.<\/p>\n

Bardisa forfeited her nursing license to the Florida Department of Health, which the sheriff\u2019s office said she earned after her arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause she chose to circumvent the rules, she ruined her career, and she potentially endangered parents,\u201d Sheriff Rick Staly said.<\/p>\n

According to FCSO, she is prohibited from practicing medicine during her probation.<\/p>\n

Bardisa was originally charged with seven counts of unlicensed practice of healthcare and seven counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information as a result of the primary investigation.<\/p>\n
