Disability Dreams & Do (D3Day) has partnered with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels again for an upcoming free event, which includes a powerful day of sports, connection and community.<\/p>\n
The event will transform Hammond Stadium into a field of opportunity where participants with disabilities can step onto a professional ballpark to hit, throw and run the bases.<\/p>\n
Individuals with disabilities, their families, volunteers and local businesses are invited to participate during the April 18 event. from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free enrollment is now open.<\/p>\n
The Fort Myers event continues a long\u2011standing partnership between D3Day and the Mighty Mussels organization, which has helped make this inclusive experience possible for the Southwest Florida community.<\/p>\n
Participation in the event is completely free for athletes and their families, thanks to the support of volunteers, sponsors and community partners. As part of the experience, all D3Day participants and their family members will receive tickets to attend the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels game the following day, giving families the opportunity to continue the celebration together at the ballpark.<\/p>\n
