Tonight, we gather for a celebration of the life of Vito \u201cThe Gut\u201d Marzetti, who was gunned down last week in a most unfortunate gangland slaying.
As a dear friend of Vito\u2019s, you have been invited to pay your respects to the family:<\/p>\n
Joey \u201cThe Lump\u201d Marzetti, the youngest son \u2014 a bootlegger by trade\u2026 though not overly bright.<\/p>\n
Ruby \u201cFingers\u201d Marzetti, Joey\u2019s sister and manager of the speakeasy \u2014 a former showgirl who is street-wise, sharp, and always listening.<\/p>\n
Frankie \u201cMarbles\u201d Marzetti, the eldest of the three \u2014 a curious fellow who rarely reveals his true personality, preferring instead to hide behind an assortment of carefully crafted alter egos.<\/p>\n
And Lena Marzetti, the grieving young widow. Despite their difference in age \u2014 and the fact that Vito tipped the scales at nearly 300 pounds \u2014 they seemed happy enough.<\/p>\n
If you wish, please be prepared to offer a short eulogy for poor Vito. He did enjoy being the center of attention.<\/p>\n
