JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. \u2013 Jacksonville Beach is turning up the volume this weekend as Springing the Blues returns to the Seawalk Pavilion.<\/p>\n
The free, outdoor festival runs April 10\u201312. The event draws national, regional and local artists to the beachfront stage. <\/p>\n
Organizers say the festival is more than just a concert \u2014 it\u2019s a celebration of America\u2019s indigenous musical form. It draws thousands of people to Jacksonville Beach every Spring. <\/p>\n
What to know before you go<\/p>\n
Before heading to the beach, festivalgoers should take note of the event\u2019s bag policy to ensure a smooth entry.<\/p>\n
Clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches and small clutches up to 6 x 6 x 6 inches are permitted on the grounds. Medical and diaper bags are also allowed but are subject to inspection upon entry.<\/p>\n
Backpacks, camera cases and large totes are not allowed. Organizers encourage attendees to pack light for a hassle-free experience.<\/p>\n
