Humane Society of Broward seeks ‘furever’ home for Frejya, other furry friends The Humane Society of Broward County is seeking a “furever” home for Friya, other furry friends. <\/p>\n

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. \u2014 The Humane Society of Broward County is spotlighting Frejya, a 10-month-old, high-energy dog in need of a loving, permanent home.<\/p>\n

Frejya, who weighs just over 40 pounds, is described as playful and lively, making her a good fit for a family that can keep her entertained with exercise and proper chew toys. Shelter staff say she may be a mix of several breeds, possibly including husky, Shiba Inu and shepherd.<\/p>\n

Because of her energetic personality, Frejya would likely benefit from an active household and could do well with another dog following a meet-and-greet. However, staff note she may be inclined to chase smaller animals like cats.<\/p>\n

The shelter encourages prospective adopters to complete a pre-adoption application online before visiting. Adoption kennels are open daily at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

According to HSBC\u2019s Cherie Wachter, Frejya\u2019s spirited nature makes her an ideal companion for someone looking for a fun and active pet.<\/p>\n
