(WCJB) &#8211; Florida Highway Patrol says a 30-year-old man is dead after a head-on crash late Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Troopers say the man, of Jacksonville, was traveling east in the westbound lane along Northeast 53rd Terrace just after 11:30, when an approaching vehicle, coming from the opposite direction, hit it head on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The approaching vehicle flipped, while the 30-year-old man\u2019s car burst into flames.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcjb.com\/newsletter\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> to subscribe to our newsletter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WCJB.
