They came out on top against the Cape Coral Seahawks<\/a> by a score of 7-2.<\/p>\n Ashley Tremont<\/a> spent all seven innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n On the hitting side, Zoey Abdullah<\/a> was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Anabela Abdullah<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Doral Academy’s win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Cape Coral, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four games. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.<\/p>\n Doral Academy will face off against Key West at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cape Coral, they will challenge Ida Baker at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
