<\/a>Source: bioreconstruct\/X<\/p>\nX user and aerial photographer bioreconstruct<\/a> recently paid another airborne visit to Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort\u2019s newest park, as it continues to undergo rapid developments in and around the property.<\/p>\n A quick look closer to the park proper reveals construction progress on a multipurpose facility being built for private events and similar functions connected to Epic Universe. The construction can be seen in the center-left of the above image.<\/p>\n Cosmos Fountain Over in the center of the park, Celestial Park\u2019s Cosmos Fountain is still drained<\/a> and undergoing various electrical updates, presumably to install new nighttime show effects in addition to other routine maintenance.<\/p>\n The wirework, visible in bright blue, seems to be the most extensive aspect of ongoing work for the fountain. You can take a closer look in our earlier coverage of prior aerial photos from bioreconstruct<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fireworks Launch Pad Speaking of the nighttime show, work continues on the launchpad located on the other side of Universal\u2019s Helios Grand Hotel. The new spit of land has grown a lot greener in the months since we first saw its development in January this year<\/a>. The bulk of the concrete work appears to be complete.<\/p>\n Around the entry point for the launchpad, several trees have been planted, each with its own irrigation line.<\/p>\n Universal Property Satellite Spur Further away from the park, we see progress continuing on mass grading work for a previously unused lot on Universal property. The sand work typically indicates the earliest stage of construction work, whereby sand is used to help provide a level foundation on rough or natural terrain.<\/p>\n In recent weeks, however, a representative from Universal claimed the work seen on this land was part of \u201cmaintenance and nothing more\u201d<\/a>. Regardless of the official comment, the sizable earthwork seems to suggest that Universal does have some intent for this lot in the future.<\/p>\n Wizarding World Expansion Lastly, we have an updated look at the expansion pad that has been cleared behind the park\u2019s Wizarding World area since its opening. <\/p>\n Work began<\/a>\u00a0in December behind the\u00a0Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry<\/a>\u00a0show building after Universal\u00a0filed a permit<\/a>\u00a0for \u201cnew construction\u201d on 150,000 square feet of the park. That permit was ultimately\u00a0revealed to be<\/a>\u00a0for \u201cP905,\u201d the codename for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter \u2013 Ministry of Magic.
