{"id":229583,"date":"2026-04-13T10:50:59","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T10:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/229583\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T10:50:59","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T10:50:59","slug":"couple-arrested-after-fight-turns-into-stabbing-at-largo-apartment-complex-affidavits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/229583\/","title":{"rendered":"Couple arrested after fight turns into stabbing at Largo apartment complex: Affidavits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One suspect admitted to stabbing two people, but claimed it was self defense after he was punched during an argument, arrest records say.<\/p>\n<p>LARGO, Fla. \u2014 A couple is facing charges after a fight turned into a stabbing at a Largo apartment complex, arrest affidavits say.<\/p>\n<p>Largo police said this happened just before 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Waterchase Apartments located on Rosery Road Northeast where three people encountered 39-year-old Anthony Roberts and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Olivia Kaufman.<\/p>\n<p>The affidavit says the group got into an argument with the couple before Roberts stabbed two of them multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>Two people were arrested following a violent disturbance that left multiple victims stabbed at a Largo apartment complex, according to arrest affidavits.<\/p>\n<p>Officers said during this incident, Kaufman showed off a pocketknife and waved it at one of the three people while swinging it and threatening them with it.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts reportedly admitted to authorities to the stabbing, but claimed it was self-defense after he was punched.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts is charged with attempted felony murder.
