JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – An updated police report now included sex offense among crimes committed at a Jacksonville hotel room earlier this month. <\/p>\n

Amy Gurganus says she was shocked to discover that a police report she filed did not mention the sexual assault she told them about.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was bleeding and extremely sore; I could barely walk. My arms were bruised, and my neck was sore,\u201d Gurganus said.<\/p>\n

The woman was staying at the Suburban Studios near Camp Lejeune on April 3rd when she says she was roofied and woke up the next morning after taking two sips of a drink she was offered.<\/p>\n

A police report that Gurganus says she obtained on April 5th lists only larceny as the crime involved. WITN interviewed the woman this past Wednesday<\/a> and an incident report police gave us today lists larceny and sex offense as possible crimes.<\/p>\n

Police told us anytime new information is received, \u201cthat is reflected in the reporting.\u201d A spokeswoman says the report was updated the day after our original story aired, while a special victims detective was assigned to the case the day before the story.<\/p>\n

The victim said she was interviewed by a police investigator on Friday.<\/p>\n

So far no one has been arrested in the case. <\/p>\n
