His name wasn&#8217;t listed in the report.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/041326-Hialeah-fatal-shooting-March-28-2026.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\"Scene of a fatal shooting in Hialeah on March 28, 2026.\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tNBC6NBC6<\/p>\n<p>Scene of a fatal shooting in Hialeah on March 28, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators found five spent shell casings at the scene and video surveillance that showed the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>The video also showed the getaway vehicle staging a block away for over an hour waiting for the victim to leave his home, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, the getaway vehicle approaches and the suspect gets out and runs toward victim in a shooting stance before running back to the vehicle and fleeing, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was identified and investigators spoke with the registered owner, who said it had been in Mays&#8217; possession since late 2025, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Mays was identified as the gunman and taken into custody, the report said.
