Rehabilitation) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">MIAMI  \u2014 A 32-year-old man was arrested after he was captured on CCTV abusing his dog after it peed in the elevator of the condominium building where he lives in Miami, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, the incident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday at 700 NE 26th Terrace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said the video shows the dog\u2019s owner, Nicholas Jabbour, yanking the dog\u2019s leash aggressively to the point where all four of the dog\u2019s legs were lifted off the ground. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">After lifting the dog up to his waist level, he then slammed the dog on the floor, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to the report, Jabbour slammed his dog to the floor twice before exiting the elevator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The report states that a security guard at the building told officers that Jabbour abused his dog after the dog peed in the elevator, which he is required to clean up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The security guard also said that there have been prior incidents involving Jabbour and his dog, including a time when the dog urinated in the hallway and inside the elevator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Jabbour was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty with intent to injure or kill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police confirmed that Miami-Dade Animal Services was notified, but it\u2019s unclear whether Jabbour still has possession of the dog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Jabbour was no longer appearing in the online jail database on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfe0 News From Your Neighborhood<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body__copyright\">Copyright 2026 by WPLG Local10.com &#8211;
