Following an impressive showcase at Coachella<\/a> that helped launch their newest era and album rollout, the Strokes<\/a> are officially hitting the road once again, with South Florida set to get a visit on September 13 at Hard Rock Live<\/a> in Hollywood.\u00a0<\/p>\n The upcoming stop also marks the first time in four years that Julian Casablancas and the rest of the band have made their way back to the Sunshine State. Their last appearance in Florida came in 2022, when they joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/a> on their stadium tour, leaving many fans wondering how long it would be before they returned for a proper headlining performance of their own. Now, that wait is finally over.<\/p>\n The group appears to be in the middle of a comeback of sorts, fueled by the release of \u201cGoing Shopping,\u201d their first new single in years, taken from their upcoming album Reality Awaits. With fresh material finally on the way, excitement around the band has only continued to build. Before their Coachella appearance, the Strokes had played a handful of smaller West Coast shows that left some fans a little unsure about what to expect from this next chapter. There were questions about whether the band would bring the same energy and focus that made them one of the most beloved acts in modern rock.<\/p>\n Those doubts were quickly put to rest. Their Coachella set ended up being one of the most talked-about performances of the festival, earning major praise not only from longtime fans but also from a younger generation discovering, or rediscovering, the band in real time. Even Gen Z<\/a> audiences were quick to declare that \u201cunc\u201d frontman Julian Casablancas \u201cstill got it\u201d, a testament to the frontman\u2019s enduring charisma and the band\u2019s ability to connect across generations.\u00a0<\/p>\n The performance itself was packed with classics spanning nearly every phase of their career.
