She was shelling with her friend, Rachel Lopez, when she looked down and spotted the brown spots peeking from the sand at the surf line. Rodriguez reported that she reached down and frantically pulled out the whole junonia. \u201cI was absolutely flabbergasted,\u201d she said. \u201cMy friend, Rachel, and I celebrated with excited screaming, jumping and hugging; soon other shellers joined in on our celebration.\u201d Rodriguez was visiting the island with her family for Easter weekend. She noted that it is her second time coming to Sanibel, but it is quickly become her family\u2019s favorite island paradise. \u201cIt was the highlight of the weekend, and the absolute peak of my shelling journey!\u201d Rodriguez said of finding the junonia.
