Longtime staff members, who have supported city operations for years, say they feel demoralized and pushed aside. Nearly 20 new hires, earning over $3.5 million in salaries, have replaced experienced employees who now worry about possible retaliation. As one insider put it, “It’s a purge disguised as progress.” Another said, “Loyalty trumps competence, and questions get you sidelined.”

Where is the transparency?
